Data protection is essential for our entire organisation

In the digital era, the best customer insights are derived from data. At the same time, we have an absolute duty to ensure the quality, proper and responsible handling, and protection of customer information. At Kojamo, responsible data protection is a central part of our operations and values.

Our annually updated data protection strategy and policy guide our practices at a high level, ensuring that personal data is always processed in compliance with legislation and ethical standards. To support our personnel, we have developed a comprehensive range of data protection guidelines and regular practical training sessions. These measures ensure that every employee understands their data protection obligations and can apply them in practice. This is particularly important, as all Kojamo employees who handle personal data play a key role in maintaining the confidentiality of such information.

Our Data Protection Officer directs and oversees data protection efforts within our organization. Additionally, Kojamo has appointed a data protection manager responsible for ensuring that data protection work is adequately resourced and that assigned tasks are effectively implemented across business operations. To further ensure comprehensive data protection management, Kojamo has long maintained a Data Protection and Security Steering Group. This group addresses broader company-level strategic issues and monitors and ensures that data protection practices and processes meet operational requirements. To support various functions, Kojamo also has operational data protection teams that regularly address practical data protection matters specific to their business areas. These groups and responsible parties work closely together to ensure efficient handling of issues.

Through these structures and measures, we strive to ensure that we handle the information of our customers and partners with the necessary care and that data protection is genuinely an integral part of our responsible operations.
