Kojamo is a significant player in real estate investments. We have developed enormously over the past few years and introduced many innovations to the market. We have ambitious growth targets that we pursue by acquiring and building new apartments. As the company’s CIO, I am responsible for matters related to ownership and investments. Together with my team, I ensure that growth is realised, that existing properties are managed smartly and that rents are at the right level.
In housing, the significance of services is constantly increasing. In addition to the point of view of investments, we are also present at the consumer interface, innovating solutions and services that create added value for the consumer. We try to find ways to make our residents’ daily lives easier. Indeed, the most interesting aspect of my work is that I have the chance to look at things from two different perspectives: investment and housing.

During the day, I communicate with many colleagues, discussing various things. I cooperate closely with construction, investment and property services teams as well as the customer relationship organisation. In my daily work, I find motivation in the joy of achievement, which especially stems from making things click in major projects through cooperation. Success is based on teamwork, which is absolutely the best thing in my work.
One way or another, I have always worked with real estate investment. Housing investment is a fascinating field, and Finland is at an interesting stage, with major cities growing significantly. As we participate in the construction of new apartments, we have a chance to follow growth closely. I think that my work has a concrete, long-term impact on both the urban landscape and the daily lives of city dwellers and our residents.
