Kiveriö, Lahti to have 32 completely renovated Lumo apartments

At the turn of the year, 32 renovated rental apartments will be completed at Kiveriönkatu 23. The spacious apartments are full of natural light and have been updated to meet the requirements of modern living. The smaller apartments have been fitted with balconies, and all the balconies are glazed.

Kiveriö, Lahti to have 32 completely renovated Lumo apartments

At the turn of the year, 32 renovated rental apartments will be completed at Kiveriönkatu 23. The spacious apartments are full of natural light and have been updated to meet the requirements of modern living. The smaller apartments have been fitted with balconies, and all the balconies are glazed.

The sophisticated layouts of the apartments, high-quality materials and glazed balconies make this a cozy place to live. The furnishings and appliances in the kitchens and bathrooms have been renewed. The kitchen appliances include a ceramic cooktop, freezer-refrigerator and dishwasher. The floor laminate is easy to maintain, and the bathrooms are tiled. The two-bedroom apartments have their own saunas, and all apartments have a glazed balcony.

Kiveriönkatu 23 was renovated both inside and out. The Lumo apartments have been updated to meet the requirements of modern living. The best aspects of the original solutions in the building, completed in 1961, have been retained, such as the spacious living rooms and bedrooms and the large windows that give a great deal of natural light in the apartments.

– Kiveriönmäki is a scenic, wooded area, and the spacious plots increase living comfort. The area is ideal for dog owners and people who enjoy the outdoors as basic services are also conveniently nearby, says house manager Tuija Ketosalmi from the Lumo Home Centre in Lahti.

The building features a sauna facility, storage space for outdoor equipment and a drying room for laundry. The yard has parking spaces with electrical outlets. The neighbouring building has a free-of-charge washing house, club room and a recycling point. The basement of the building has its own entrance to a hobby room which can be leased.

In 2011, VVO Group launched a renovation project for the properties in the area. Kiveriönkatu 23, which is now about to be completed, is the sixth renovated building in the area. The remaining two buildings will be renovated in the near future.
