Metropolia properties
Kojamo has acquired vacant premises from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki:
- Main building, Helsinki University of Technology, Abrahaminkatu 1–3
- Chemistry department (Old and New Chemistry), Bulevardi 31
- Kottarainen block, Eerikinkatu 32–38, Albertinkatu 40–42 and Kalevankatu 39–43
- Käpylä secondary school, Onnentie 18
- Kätilöopisto nursing college, Sofianlehdonkatu 5
- Nursing college, Tukholmankatu 10
- Industrial college, Agricolankatu 1–3
The premises have been or will be renovated and turned into Lumo homes. For example, new Lumo homes were completed in the former Chemistry department at Bulevardi 31 in autumn 2023.
The zoning of the main building of the Helsinki University of Technology does not allow housing. The main use of the legally binding zoning is hotel business.
