New Lumo homes in Vasaramäki: in this popular area, families stay for generations
At the end of August, more than 80 interested people visited the first viewing of the new Lumo homes in Vasaramäki, Turku. All of the property’s two-bedroom apartments have already been rented.
Lumo has built 84 new rental apartments near the oldest and largest urban park in Finland, Kupittaa Park. The first residents will move in at the start of December.
“Hippoksentie 33 A is an attractive destination for many. It is in the middle of an urban park landscape and excellent sports facilities. The residents of our other buildings on the same plot have lived in the same home for a very long time – even for several generations. It is also easy to change apartments within the same area if your life situation changes,” says Katri Kronström, Area Manager for Lumo Homes in Turku.

The first viewing at the end of August was attended by more than 80 people.
“The number of rental apartments available in the Vasaramäki area is limited, so it’s no wonder that all the two-bedroom apartments were rented right away. Renting through the webstore is easy and also safe, thanks to the satisfaction guarantee, which will definitely affect the popularity of renting,” Kronström continues.
The light and airy apartments feature glazed balconies and studios have French balconies. Most of the apartments in the building are one-bedroom apartments, and many of them have an adaptable space that serves a wide range of needs and can be used as a dining or working space, for example. The shared residents’ sauna features a cosy lounge for cooling off, and there is also a club room in the yard.
A shared van and passenger car can be found near the house, charging points for electric cars will be built next to the house, and the nearest parcel locker is located in the yard. Cleaning and moving services are also easily available to the residents of Lumo homes through the My Lumo service. My Lumo is an online service through which you can conveniently book or buy various housing services, pay rent and contact your property manager or maintenance company.
The Lumo homes on Hippoksentie are located near the hospital and higher education institutions. The area offers unique exercise opportunities such as grass fields for ball games, a bowling alley, outdoor exercise equipment, an indoor skating rink, an outdoor swimming pool, a sports hall, and a gym. There are also playgrounds and an adventure park for children.
The new homes can be rented directly from the webstore
The Lumo rental apartments at Hippoksentie 33 A invite residents to celebrate the holiday season in a new home: you can move into the apartments well before Christmas and the New Year, starting on 1 December 2023. There are still studios and one-bedroom apartments available.
