Kojamo Group’s Lumo Kodit Oy and Lehto Group Plc’s subsidiary Rakennuskartio Oy are building 127 Lumo rental apartments. The properties under construction are located at Linnankatu 3 in the centre of Hämeenlinna and at Riitasuonkatu 28 in the Kaerla district of Turku. The properties will be completed in late 2018.
The former office building at Linnankatu 3 in Hämeenlinna is being renovated and turned into 78 Lumo apartments. The building is equipped with elevators and most of the unique and high-quality Lumo rental apartments are single and two-room apartments. In addition, there are four three-room apartments.
Tenants will have common facilities that include a laundry room that can be used free of charge, two drying rooms as well as sauna and storage facilities. There will be parking places in the parking garage and on the deck.
The new property at Riitasuonkatu 28 in Turku is being built to replace a demolished building in the Kaerla district. The 49 new Lumo rental apartments in this four-storey building, equipped with elevators, are single and two-room apartments with balconies. Two-room apartments feature glazed balconies and singles have French balconies. The building has sauna facilities as well as a laundry room and a drying room that can be used free of charge. In the yard, you can find both a playground and recreational area and the building’s parking places.
“Linnankatu 3 is a good example of an ideal location for rental apartments. Converting the office building into homes enables us to build apartments right in the heart of the town,” says Kim Jolkkonen, Real Estate Development Director at Kojamo.

Linnankatu 3 and Riitasuonkatu 28 are smoke-free buildings, just like all of Kojamo’s newly constructed properties. In smoke-free buildings, smoking is prohibited in apartments, on balconies and in the shared facilities.
The benefits available to Lumo tenants include broadband internet, which is included in the rent. Pets are also welcome in the buildings. In addition, tenants are offered a wide variety of resident benefits and events.
