DNA’s broadband and entertainment services coming to all Lumo homes during the year 2022 – cooperation to expand significantly

Kojamo Plc Press Release 19 May 2021

Cooperation between DNA and Lumo homes is set to expand significantly. DNA’s broadband and entertainment services will be available in around 36,000 Lumo homes during the year 2022.

During the year 2022, DNA’s broadband and entertainment services will be available in all Lumo homes across Finland. In the future, all Lumo homes will have access to internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps and a broad range of entertainment services by DNA with a smooth experience.

Today’s high living standards include fast and reliable internet connections that DNA has long supplied for Lumo homes. Now, cooperation between the companies is expanding, and residents of all Lumo homes will have the opportunity to purchase DNA’s broadband and entertainment services through the My Lumo service and DNA’s sales channels.

Fast, high-quality internet access transforms the way we work, study and consume entertainment. Reliable internet access has become one of the cornerstones of a simple life. I am pleased that our excellent cooperation with Lumo homes is expanding and that we now have the chance to offer first-rate broadband and entertainment services for all Lumo homes nationwide,” says Jarno Haikonen, ‎Vice President, Broadband and TV Business at DNA.

DNA’s ability to deliver high-quality and reliable internet access solutions is one of the main reasons for expanding the cooperation. DNA recently became the market leader in fixed-network broadband subscriptions in Finland.

“Today, nearly all our customers see a smooth internet connection as a basic requirement for working, keeping in touch with friends and enjoying entertainment at home. In order to improve urban living, we want to offer our residents faster broadband access free of charge. At the same time, we want to make entertainment content easily available in our own digital My Lumo service. As a strongly customer-oriented and forward-looking company, DNA is a natural partner to help us implement this vision,” says Lauri Peltonen, ‎Head of Services and Real Estate Management at Lumo.

Customers of Lumo homes will have the opportunity to make use of DNA’s wide range of entertainment services. Residents can purchase entertainment content and channel packages from DNA’s sales channels as well as in the My Lumo service. The DNA TV Hubi service combines a TV, video rental store and more than 7,000 Android TV apps into a single entertainment package. Content can be viewed through DNA TV in HD quality in terrestrial and cable network homes and anywhere from the DNA mobile app. In addition, DNA’s online subscribers get access to many special deals, such as discounts on Netflix Family subscriptions and C More content.

DNA’s broadband also includes DNA Nettipulssi, which automatically ensures WiFi network quality within a building’s apartments by choosing the best settings for wireless home networks. DNA also offers equipment and services for additional network and device security in homes.

Together, DNA and Lumo are redesigning living with services that make everyday life easier for residents.
