Lumo supports top Finnish sports at individual and team level – the sponsorship programme is open for applications 1-31 October 2024
Launched in 2012, Lumo sponsorship programme promotes wellbeing through physical activity by sponsoring promising sporting talents. Sponsorship requires a successful competition record and a minimum age of 14 during the sponsorship year 2025.
The sponsorship programme is open for applications 1-31 of October 2024 and the choosing of the athletes for 2025 will be done in November.

Lumo-sponsored athletes 2024
The Lumo-sponsored athletes in 2024 have been wheelchair sprinter Henry Manni, hurdler Viivi Lehikoinen, gymnast Emil Soravuo, ice dancer pair Juulia Turkkila and Matthias Versluis, and women’s gymnastics team OVO Team.
Henry Manni has been part of the Lumo sponsorship programme since the beginning.
“I have achieved all 20 adult championship medals as part of the Lumo homes' team. Over these years, many things have changed, but Lumo has remained on my chest as a logo and in my heart as a loyal partner for 12 years. Lumo has given me certainty and confidence and has enabled my career at the top of the world,” Manni reminisces.

Juulia Turkkila and Matthias Versluis have been in the Lumo sponsorship programme for two years now.
“Lumo has been our first partner. Over the past few years, we have been able to enhance our training, for example, by attending overseas camps more frequently thanks to the support provided by Lumo homes,” commented Turkkila and Versluis.
