Kojamo plc, the winner of the major employer category in the Responsible Summer Job 2017 competition, will hire 50 enthusiastic summer workers this year.
Kojamo has participated in the Responsible Summer Job campaign for the past four years. The campaign challenges employers to offer more summer jobs—and higher-quality summer jobs—to young people and awards prizes to the most responsible summer job employers. Kojamo won the major employer category in last year’s competition, with summer workers praising Kojamo’s application process and willingness to offer meaningful tasks in particular.
Kojamo will again hire 50 summer workers this year. The application window will open on Monday, 15 January, and close at the end of February. Jobs will be available at the head office in Helsinki as well as Lumo-kotikeskus centres around the country. The duration of the employment relationships will range from two to five months, depending on the position.
Kojamo will hire several sales representatives, house managers and customer service representatives. Examples of other available positions include rent supervisor, building systems trainee, technical manager, software development trainee, accounts payable officer, accountant and office assistant.
In addition to being 18 or older, applicants must have a positive and energetic service attitude.
“We offer applicants a summer job that allows them to develop their own skills as well as the operations of our company. We promise to support them by providing good orientation training, an inspiring workplace atmosphere and competitive pay,” says Minna Vuorinen, HR Specialist at Kojamo.
Kojamo is one of the main partners of the Responsible Summer Job 2018 campaign. The company is committed to the campaign’s six principles of good summer jobs: a good application experience, meaningful work, introduction and guidance, fairness and equality, reasonable pay and a written contract and testimonial.
More details on the summer job vacancies will be available starting from Monday, 15 January 2018, at kojamo.fi/kesatyo.
