Kojamo plc: Two Lumo properties to be built in the Karibianranta neighbourhood of Helsinki’s Jätkäsaari district
Lumo Kodit Oy is having two residential properties built in Helsinki’s Jätkäsaari district. With a total of 156 apartments, the waterfront buildings at Bahamankatu 8 and Karibiankuja 4 will form part of the Karibianranta neighbourhood.
Construction on both properties will begin in February–March 2019 and they are scheduled to be completed in autumn 2020.
The Lumo buildings on Bahamankatu and Karibiankuja will mainly consist of singles and two-room apartments. Karibiankuja is also part of the pedestrian and bicycle route in the area. Bahamankatu 8 will be developed in cooperation with Peab Oy and Karibiankuja 4 with Hartela Etelä-Suomi Oy.
Helsinki’s Jätkäsaari district is part of the popular new city centre, characterised by attractive courtyards, cafés, restaurants and street-level shops. The local services are within walking distance and public transport is easy to access via the local tram lines and the Ruoholahti metro station. Apartments in Jätkäsaari are in high demand and the district will continue to see strong development in the near future.
