Lumo Kodit Oy buys the entire share capital of Helsingin Ristiretkeläistenkatu 19

Lumo Kodit Oy has bought the entire share capital of Helsingin Ristiretkeläistenkatu 19 from Rakennus Omera Oy and e-House Oy. A total of 30 new Lumo rental apartments will be completed at the property in Viikinmäki in summer 2018.

A large number of new apartments will be completed in Viikinmäki during this decade. Viikinmäki is near good transportation connections and services. The new Lumo apartments will be situated in an excellent location, close to nature and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities.

  • “Helsingin Ristiretkeläistenkatu 19 is a good example of our strategic investment in the future. These rental apartments will be close to services, too. We want to increase the group’s number of apartments by 1,000 apartments a year. We invest especially in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and growth centres in Finland,” says Kim Jolkkonen, Real Estate Development Director at Kojamo.
  • “It’s great to participate in the construction of one of the most high-quality residential blocks in the Viikinmäki neighbourhood,” says Tuomas Leppänen, CEO at Rakennus Omera Oy.
  • “The Viikinmäki contract is in line with e-House’s strategy in which the company’s real estate development projects are constructed together with partners, taking into account the individual needs and strengths of the parties involved,” says Jyrki Haavisto, CEO at e-House Oy.

VVO Group is now Kojamo. Kojamo plc focuses on real estate investments in Finland, renewing rental housing in order to make it increasingly attractive. The vision of the housing investment company is to be a pioneer in housing and the number-one choice for customers.
