Lumo won two bronze medals at the Effie Awards 2017 competition. Effie is the world’s largest and most respected competition measuring the effectiveness of marketing communications. Lumo was recognised in both the business and media categories: the business Effie went to the “Lumo – commercial love story” campaign, and the bronze medal in the media category was awarded to the “Lumo x Tinder – It’s a match” campaign.

According to the jury, the choice of media was innovative, which also earned Lumo a bronze medal in the media category: ”Offering rental apartments through Tinder is an entirely new and astonishingly bold concept. The exceptional strategy of the Lumo brand and TBWAHelsinki produced exceptionally good results and earned a bronze Effie.”

Effie is the world’s largest and most respected competition measuring the effectiveness of marketing communications. It is owned by Effie Worldwide Inc. The competition was established by the New York American Marketing Association (NYAMA) in 1968. Effie is a registered trademark. The Effie competition is arranged in 42 countries. In Finland, the competition was organised by the Finnish Association of Marketing, Technology and Creativity (MTL) for now the 16th time.
