Kojamo plc: Lumo Kodit and Fira have agreed on the construction of 157 new apartments in Myyrmäki, Vantaa
Lumo Kodit Oy and Fira Oy have agreed on the construction of 157 new apartments in Myyrmäki, Vantaa. The rapidly developing Myyrmäki neighbourhood will now get a total of 157 Lumo apartments in condominium Liesikuja 8 and Ruukkupolku 14. Kojamo now has approximately 2,500 apartments under construction.
The apartments include single-, two- and three-room apartments; for example, for small families. An eight-storey apartment building and a 15-storey tower building will be constructed on the site. The Lumo apartments will also be served by a communal courtyard and an underground car park. The apartments will be completed in the summer 2022 and early 2023. Myyrmäki offers all necessary services as well as excellent transport links. Thanks to having three shopping centres, a health centre, a library, a public transport terminal and a sports centre, the area is urban but also able to offer green spaces for outdoor activities.
The investment supports Kojamo’s strategic growth especially in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Kojamo’s strategy is to invest heavily in increasing the housing supply in Finland’s growth centres, where the demand for rental apartments is on the rise due to urbanisation and the increased popularity of rental housing.
